Tanks R Us – Tanks 10 Year Fix or Replace Warranty

Tanks R Us (herein after the Manufacturer) warrants to the original customer at the time of installation, to repair or replace (at our option and cost) any defect or fault in our water tanks caused by our own manufacturing process for a period of ten (10) years.

The Manufacturer warrants to repair or replace (at our option and cost), any defect or fault in our other products, including AG products, caused by our own manufacturing process for a period of five (5) years.

• This warranty is granted to the original customer at the time of installation and is transferable to any heirs or successors in title.
• This warranty provides a 10 year guarantee for water tanks and a 5 year guarantee for other products and commences from the date of purchase of the products.
• The warranty does not apply to the colour of the tank which may fade or change from time to time.
• This warranty does not extend to parts, fixtures and fittings such as the strainer, outlet, valve and overflow which may be warranted under a separate warranty.

Normal Use

Our products are only to be used for their intended purpose. Performance of our products may be affected if the products are installed incorrectly, not secured or not used for their intended purpose. Tanks R Us water tanks are only to be installed on a stable base which fully supports the tank.

This warranty does not cover damage to unsecured tanks. It is recommended that there be at least 25mm (1”) of water in the tank or the tank is otherwise secured immediately upon delivery.

Tanks are only to be used for the purpose of water storage. Tanks which have stored any other materials will not be covered by this warranty. Tanks are not designed to be transported, moved or relocated and are not designed to transport materials or water.

Claims must include pictures describing and showing the alleged defect and proof of purchase. It is condition of this warranty that the claimant provides reasonable access to the products to allow a reasonable inspection of the products and work to be commenced.

The benefits given to the buyer by this warranty are in addition to the other rights and remedies of consumer under a law in relation to the goods to which this warranty relates.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
